Structural Direct Tension Indicator (Dimple) Washer

Dimple washers should be used in assemblies where structural bolts and nuts are used (also known as HSFG assemblies).

They are generally manufactured in accordance with BS EN 14399-9.

The dimples in the washers act as a way of ensuring the correct tension has been achieved in the bolting assembly.
