Socket Set Screw (Flat Point)

Socket Set Screw (Flat Point)

Also known as a grub screw, socket set screws are fully threaded with no head, and contain an internal hexagon socket. This means they can tightly clamp objects together in situations where a bolt and nut wouldn't fit.

This variation comes with a flat point, in order words the non-socket end of the screw is flat. Other common variations include cone point, cup point, and dog point.

Standards: DIN 913; ISO 4026; ASME B18.3
