A fully or partially threaded screw (size-dependent) with internal hexalobular socket and recessed head which sits flush against the object it's fixing. The socket head offers higher clamping force than traditional screws.
Hexalobular is often abbreviated as TX, Six-lobe, 6lobe, or Torx.
