Square Nut
An alternative to the much more common hex nut, the square nut provides greater wear resistance and resistance to loosening. However, it can be harder to tighten due to fewer flats.

Steel Zinc Plated (BZP)
Stainless Steel A2/304
A general purpose stainless steel which strikes a good balance between corrosion-resistance and cost.

Often referred to as 'marine grade' stainless steel due to it's excellent anti-corrosion properties, making it great for saltwater resistance.
