Slotted Set Screw

Slotted Set Screw

A slotted set screw is a headless fastener with a threaded body and a slotted drive at one end, designed to be tightened or loosened using a flat-blade screwdriver. It is typically used to secure an object within or against another object, such as locking a shaft in place within a collar or gear. The lack of a head allows it to sit flush or below the surface of the material for a clean, unobtrusive finish.
